XCD Support

Postby scorpio » 22 Feb 2004 17:51

XCD ... I had tested XCD Disc with BSPlayer and ZoomPlayer and they works well.

When I tried with VLC I found that VLC assume the file "movie.dat" is a mpeg file ... the Messages Window confirm this an generate mpeg_system warning: garbage (0x....).

So is there any plan to support XCD in the future releases.

Cheers,
Scorpio

Yay, one more useless disc storage format that creates more problems for keeping your data stored for use, then that it solves.

VLC developers have no time to implement support for something as this. Anyone however is welcome to do so. The source is with you Luke. Use it.

mode2form2 (as used by "xcd") is nothing really fancy and used for example in vcd

after all getting 800mb on a 700mb disc is a nice thing
