Multiple media libraries

The media library is a special playlist - I'd like to have multiple of them. Playlists within vlc that retain their contents on shutdown and can auto-update if directory files are added.

There's definitely a benefit to having xspf files and being able to import/export your playlists. But from a comfort, every day point-of-view where one's using the same media/folders regularly, it makes more sense to have this functionality existing within VLC. If you don't agree, please explain.
