.ts files playback blocky/pixelated

Postby VirtualNobody » 23 Feb 2015 05:31

Using VLC 2.1.5 standard on Windows 8, core i3 330.

When playing back .ts files, audio is fine, but video is blocky/pixelated. Playback with WMP is just fine. CPU load is only about 30%.

Similiar problem with .m2ts files as well. Audio is fine, but video "skips".

I've been goolging for several nights on this issue and tried many things, with no results. Most of the suggestions seem to be for 2010-2011 era VLC versions, and don't seem to have any affect on this version.

Any ideas?

Thank you.

I have. I have tried Automatic and direct X, seems to be no difference.
