Disabling Hotkeys

Postby chuck2nd » 16 Feb 2015 16:34

We are using VLC for critical live stream video surveillance and had a user hit the pause button accidentally resulting in buffering to a tmp directory. Is there a way to disable pause permanently? I know hotkeys can be 'unset', but users could theoretically set them up again. Is there a way to disable hotkeys permanently?
thanks,
Chuck

Yes, remove the hotkeys plugin in the control plugins folder.
