"©" character causes trouble when saving the script. Delete it and resave the script file with "UTF-8 without BOM" or just the "ANSI" encoding. Copy/Paste the script in Notepad, delete "©", Save as ANSI. How do you save the script?

I did save it as as ANSI, but it's not working. did you try it?

straight into "myvlc\lua\playlist\" folder, started the VLC, Ctrl+V the link and it really works.

There could be the link in the addons manager in VLC. Then there should be this link in the header of old place at addons.videolan.org and a link to the old place could be placed in the header of the new place. All websites should be connected.
Then there could be a pinned topic somewhere on the forum to introduce the new site api.addons.videolan.org, the .vlp package, instructions, a place to report issues, ask questions, discuss related stuff and the direct link to the forum topic should be mentioned at api.addons.videolan.org.
