Blu-ray Playback Too Big

Postby mfc90125 » 01 Jan 2015 02:56

Greetings - I've only recently had this issue, and have made no adjustments to VLC prior to this point.

Whenever I open VLC to view a BD, the screen shows a zoomed-in image instead of the entire screen. Please note the screencap, which shows a 4:3 with the same issue.

I've reset the preferences and even removed the %appdata% folder. I've also unclicked "Resize interface to video size" as was suggested in previous posts.

This happens with a ripped VOB file as well as active BD's in my tray.

I am running Windows 7 64-bit with 8GB of RAM with a Samsung 58" flat panel attached to a DIY HTPC with HDMI.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

UPDATE: I have an image to share but can't seem to post it here - just shows the cut off screen - can images be uploaded in posts here?

..... If that sill doesn't work, then try : Tools/Preferences(Advanced)/Video, scroll down to window properties and set the video size to equal or smaller than your screen resolution.
