Closing & relaunching or restarting quickly causes VLC crash

Postby elindsey » 28 Dec 2014 04:20

Windows 8.1 Pro
Processor: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5410 @ 2.33GHz 2.33 GHz (2 processors)
Installed memory (RAM): 10.0 GB
System type: 64-bit Operating System, x64-based processor

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open a folder with several video files
2. Launch one of the movies by using the Enter key
3. As or after the movie is playing, use Alt+F4 to exit VLC
4. Very quickly (as vlc.exe is shutting down?), use Enter to try and start another movie

Expected behavior:
VLC will start and begin playing the selected movie.

Actual behavior:
Nothing. If we press Enter again (in the Explorer window), a dialog pops up saying that VLC crashed and would we like to submit a bug report. We selected Yes and it sent successfully, then the file is played correctly.
