I'm not new to VLC but have really only used it as a basic media player until today. After a bit of playing around I found how to save off individual tracks and either convert them to MP3 or save them as the uncompressed audio data. However I have only found how to do this one track at a time and I have to manually create a folder for the album name and manually name each individual file.
Is it possible to have VLC save an entire audio CD to the HD of my computer with it taking the metadata from the CD to name the folder (for the album name) and the tracks? I wish to do this both as a raw audio data and as a conversion to MP3?
If this needs a script, does someone have one?
Many thanks for any assistance.
