Dreambox 7020 (Enigma 2) and VLC 2.1.4 problems

I am running vlc on my Ubuntu machine and watching moves from the PC to TV (dreambox) using HTTP interface. (Enigma 2 plugin)
All was working fine with VLC 1.05 with Ubuntu 12.4 but update to Ubuntu 14. brought new VLC player.

I have modified python code in dreambox Enigma to allow new HTTP authorization feature and can walk through folders and and start player remotely but when I start stream, I can hear the sound but the screen remains black.

I have build VLC 1.05 from souse, but this one does not plays even sound (mainly using defaults). I used to build it from source on Ubuntu 12.4 and it was working.

To investigate problem further I've brought windows laptop and tried it there.
I've installed VLC 1.05 on windows machine and everything works with this.
I've installed VLC2.1.5 on windows and have the same situation as with VLC from Linux.

I have to assume that something is changed in videolibraries.

Not familiar with streaming and its debugging so the question is

Where to dig?
