Steaming PC to android

Hey chaps,

Have done a forum search and found plenty of topics on this kind of setup, but most of them involve streaming files, or from android to pc.

How should I go about streaming my windows desktop (specifically a sky sports stream via their website) to an android box I have connected to my TV (it's a minix XBMC thing)?

I've tried multiple options that APPEAR to be streaming from my PC, but I can't seem to open it on the other end for love nor money. This could be any number of reasons from putting in the wrong address, or simply messing up the settings. I am new to this, last time I streamed anything was winamp shoutcast about a decade ago!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
