Nightly VLC wrong sub size

There seems to be a bug in the VLC nightly.
In fact, when I open a video file with a subtitle ass with karaoke text with normal VLC subtitle is read correctly with the right size (even with other programs is read with the same magnitude).
The nigthly, which solves the bug of crash after closing a video with soft sub, instead, has a problem because the karaoke text file ass takes up much more space.
It seems to be a problem this is on nigthly of version 2.2, and version 3.
I hope I have explained the problem well since the last time it seems you did not understand it, if you need a more detailed explanation I will do it.

Please try to reset preferences. Maybe you can upload screenshots both with VLC 2.1.5 and VLC 2.2 to see the difference? Maybe we need an example file.

I tried your sample and can reproduce the issue (though the general font size is a lot smaller than in your screenshots).

But I have no idea what is the issue, and whats the really correct font size for your file. I opened this ticket https://trac.videolan.org/vlc/ticket/12733, maybe someone else has an idea.
