I'm using release 0.9.9, looks like both Hebrew encodings make the Hebrew characters appear as empty spaces. Only Latin characters and special characters appear properly.

Does your device have an installed Hebrew font?

Yes, in fact it's my phone's main language. Other players show the characters properly.

yes, every srt I tried, in both encodings.
