Add to VLC Media player's Playlist

Hey guys, when I'm watching my shows, I have the videos in a folder and the episodes are in order. When I highlight the episodes that I want to watch and add them to the playlist to watch with VLC, the videos won't be in numbered order and I have to go into the play list and click description until the videos are in numerical order. Is there a way to have the playlist play them in numerical order by default?

Open the folder and not the files.

Oh thanks that did work! But let's say there's a lot of videos in this one folder and it wouldn't be as efficient to open the whole folder. Is there a way to just select which videos to play and at it to the playlist and it'll just play it in order?

Make yourself a playlist, save this playlist and then open in the future the playlist.
