Add options to set up the RTSP mode

Postby Guest » 20 Oct 2005 11:05

There are three streaming mode in RTSP.
1. RTSP, RTP/RTCP in UDP
2. RTP/RTCP embedded in RTSP/TCP
3. HTTP tunnel
May add an option to set these three mode. Thanks!

VLC only misses HTTP tunneling. Rollover from UDP to TCP is automatic (10s), you can also use the --rtsp-tcp option to enforce the TCP mode automatically.

Thanks! I can use the command line to force the RTP embedded in RTSP. Can I use the windows GUI to set these?

I'm trying to setup vod behind a d-link router:
Can I use rtsp-http or one of these others?
I don't understand how to implement either the vlm or client interfaces...
Please help!
