Bad decoding performance

Postby gue22 » 17 Jul 2014 23:07

I tried to view 3D side-by-side videos from YouTube trusting on VLC 0.95. Many videos (with rapid motion) were extremely pixelated.

The Google Video Player worked fine with them. If you want specific examples, please tell!

Epson Moverio BT-200 see-through glasses
OMAP ? at 1.2 GHz
Android 4.0.4

Did you try with hardware acceleration?

Hardware acceleration was auto. When I set full accreleration it worked.
Could there be a bug with the auto setting?
Thanks

By default it only accelerates decoding, since on many devices full acceleration doesn't function or causes crashes.
