Contrast, brightness, color adjustment with graphical...

Hi guys,

i would be happy to see an on the fly adjustment option for changing contrast, brightness, color adjustment etc. It would be nice to have an graphical interface like the sound-equalizer. I think that this option is very usefull because many videos are too dark to watch and the adjustment methods in the properties are too difficult to handle.

Would be cool to see this feature in one of the next releases

Btw.: i am using mac os x and VLC is the absolute BEST video-player for this operating system. Fantastic work!

This is included in the next version of VLC. You can already try it out in the current beta version (more information on the beta are in the general VLC discussion forum).

Not really. The next beta version will definitely come out this week, but since all the translations to various languages still need to be done for a final release, it will take another 2 weeks after that.
We still hope to ship the final by the end of october.

Anyway, the "beta"-label shouldn't stop you from checking out the new features. The only severe problems left on VLC-OSX are missing CDDAX-support (this gets the titles of your Audio-CD-tracks automatically through the internet) and a broken video-encoder (which basically means that you cannot convert any movies at the moment; converting audio-only files is possible though). But that's just my personal opinion.
