Snapshot: Hotkeys do not work

Postby Grape Crusher » 17 Oct 2005 10:45

(VLC 0.8.2 & Win XP SP2)

Taking snapshots via the hotkey assignment (ctl, alt,s) does not work. I can take snapshots using the mouse, in either windowed or fullscreen mode. But I cannot take them using the hotkeys. Other hotkeys, such as those for advancing or pausing work fine. (Perhaps this should be posted as a bug?)

Problem Solved

Postby Guest » 17 Oct 2005 20:29

I have discovered the source ot the problem.

There was a conflict with a wallpaper manager that I have running in the background which has similar hotkey assignments.

I reassigned those, which I never use anyway, and now snapshots work perfectly in VLC.

Sorry for any confusion.
