It seems that the server(s) for the nightlies is(are) down. Seems like it started on May 1st.
I guess people from the team are already aware?

It appears the nightlies server is back up now.
The frequency response of the filters (with center frequencies 60, 170, 310, 600, 1k, 3k, 6k, 12k, 14k, and 16k) used in VLC's 10-band equalizer at 44100 Hz sampling rate:

Yes, it's hosted at a university and there are a few issues lately, on power input.
