How do I turn off captured image from showing?

Postby z0diac » 22 Jun 2014 11:55

Anyone know how the heck I do this?? WheN I capture a screenshot, it always shows the image I JUST captured in the top left of the screen for a few seconds. If I'm trying to capture a lightning shot from my storm video, I have to wait each time for this overlayed image to go away before I can see the full screen again. It's VERY annoying! Arrrrg! I've gone through the menus over and over and over and have trying lots of different things but I can't find the setting for it!

Anyone know how to make VLC get rid of showing the screenshot you took on your screen after capturing it???

Hi, z0diac! Perhaps CloudStalker can help(?)
  • Open up VLC and go to Tools > Preferences (Ctrl+P)
  • At the bottom-left, under "Show settings", click "All"
  • In the left pane select Video and in the right pane untick the box "Display video snapshot preview" and save
Okay. Haaave ah good one! :D
