We just committed a fix for this; please try a nightly build and see if it works for you.The VLC play\pause buttons never appears, and neither does the scroll\ pan bar. The only VLC chooises available during playback is the scroll up and down for brightness and volume.
Long-press the pause button.I've been using VLC for quite a while now and like it very much. I use it mostly for playing mp3s and occasionally a video. Not exactly a bug, but I noticed in one of the last updates that the stop button has been removed in the program. I would like to be able to hit the stop button and close the program, but now I'm forced to go to the pop up menu in the right hand corner and have to hit the stop button there. I can see it being useful if you use a playlist a lot, but I usually jump around between folders in the program and don't find that very handy. Thanks!
