.idx subtitles out of alignment

Postby Pavkerbell » 01 Jun 2014 14:38

I'm having trouble with the subtitles for some of my video files. I'm using the latest version of VLC (2.1.3) and I've found other people who have had the exact same problem a few years back but I was unable to find out if it was ever fixed.

The subtitles are separate idx/sub files. They are displaying very off-center to the left when the mkv file is played. I opened the idx files in vobsub configure and changed the x axis by 150. Now the subtitles display in the center with every other player I have tested with except VLC where it still displays to the left. I have also tested changing the colour of the subtitles with vobsub and VLC won't display the new colour either. Is there any way I can fix this?
