Whole playlist progress bar

Hi,

I've got a playlist listing a set of video files. I want the scrollbar to continue smoothly from 0% at the start of the first file, to 100% at the end of the last file.

For example; if I had two video files of equal length in a playlist and set the progress bar to 45%, I would see the 90% mark in the first file. If I seek to 55%, I should see the 10% mark in the second file.

Is this possible in VLC somehow? I'm thinking that it must already do something similar when playing VOB files from a DVD.
