I have VLC 0.8.2 and would like to write a script (e.g shell script) to open up several simultaneous streams to a streaming server (also VLC 0.8.2)
When I tried to run a second instance of VLC, it complains about audio/video device has been locked -- how do I get around this? Preferably, it would be nice just to use one instance of VLC to open up several simultaneous streams
. Any pointer is greatly appreciated.
