Postby ravenshadow » 30 Apr 2014 12:15

hardware acceleration doesnt works on my mediatek mt6589 chipset. it does support full 1080p hardware aceleration. hardware acceleration works in other players like mxplayer, bsplayer.

i have even tried the latest build and original builds.

here - http://tny.cz/d073ed0d

it shows black screen with audio. none formats work(mp4, mkv, avi) which work in other players. but 3gp works with screen tearings or none.

Can you also generate a log using the instructions in the section "Advanced users or developers"?

Thanks

Hi
I also have a mt6589 on my phone with same problem.

Here the advanced logcat:

http://tny.cz/8d5c9322

I played a file with acceleation set to "automatique" then set it "au décodage" and play then "complète" and play.

automatique : works ok

au décodage : it doesn't display any video, just play the sound like an audio file only

complète : sometimes it play with bad display (garbage), sometimes it almost crash
