Help! VLC build for ios

Postby chenxiandiao » 27 Apr 2014 07:23

I just want to complie the vlc for ios.

And I follows the step as the
https://wiki.videolan.org/IOSCompile/.

But after I completed downloading the Related package from the git.
I run sh compileVLCforiOS.sh again.
And Now it show me the error

/Users/mac/CXD/VLC_IOS/ios/ImportedSources/VLCKit
xcrun: error: unrecognized option: --show-sdk-version
Usage: xcrun [options] <utility> ... arguments ...

Find and execute the named command line utility from
the installed Xcode.

Options:
-h, --help show this help message and exit
-v, --verbose show verbose logging output
--sdk <sdk name> find the tool for the given SDK name
--toolchain <name> find the tool for the given toolchain
-l, --log show commands to be executed (with --run)
-f, --find only find and print the utility path
-r, --run find and execute the utility (this is the default behavior)
-n, --no-cache do not use the lookup cache
-k, --kill-cache remove any existing cache file (and perhaps recreate)

I read the buildMobileVLCKit.sh.I found there's a line about sdk set.

SDK=`xcrun --sdk iphoneos --show-sdk-version`
SDK_MIN=6.1

but event if i change this manual.
As SDK=iphonesimulator6.1

But Next time I complie the vlc use by command "sh compileVLCforiOS.sh " again.
the buildMobieVLCKit.sh is still back to SDK=`xcrun --sdk iphoneos --show-sdk-version`.
It seems that what i change is not working at all.

How can I solve this problem?

Thank you.
