Wi-Fi Upload not working?

I try to enable WiFi Upload, but it doesn't seem to work.
It worked fine yesterday but now I can't even toggle it on :c

Check that your wifi connection correctly works.

hi im having the same issue.. i cannot toggle the wifi upload button
VLC Version: 2.2.2
iOS: 7.1
Device: iP4s
iTUnes: 11 ( doesnt matter i think )

Make sure that your WiFi connection is active and you have no VPN enabled.

Just turn ipad's wifi off then on again.. this worked for me (while restarting both my linux laptop and the ipad didn't)! Seems like a VLC bug, since the other apps on my ipad worked fine thru the wifi. VPN has nothing to do, my VLC accepts uploads regardless of my VPN status (on or off).. VPNs don't route local traffic thru the tunnel!

Hi everybody, same problem here. At home I used to connect via wifi mi Ipad to upload files flawlessly, now I'm overseas in the hotel with wifi and my computer can't connect to my Ipad doing exactly the same procedure I used to do at home, but if I try to connect from safari in the Ipad I can see the page to upload. I tried another computer (all of them connected to same wifi network) and the eroor persists. It say it took too long to connect. What is happening? Can Anybody help me her? Thanks!

PS: Wifi works correctly and no VPN enabled
