Play videos with up to 2000% playback speed fluently

Hey Guys,

currently I am working on a project for alternative navigation methods for video players on mobile devices. Therefore, I try to play a video very fast, up to 2000%, without audio. I just realized that at the moment the VLC payer is able to play a video with max. 500% speed. With higher speeds the video doesn't play fluently anymore.
Now my question: Is is possible to adapt the player that it can play videos fluently with 2000% of the default speed, without preprocessing the video? I try to change the playback speed with real-time interactions;
