I'm not sure what you mean. I just need to know how to change the aspect ratio for the image wall so it will stretch the video across two monitors (unless there is another way). I've tried changing the default aspect ratio of the image wall filter and nothing happened. I've tried changing the default aspect ratio in the general video settings, and although it changed for the normal video playing, as soon as I enabled the video wall it switches back to the default aspect ratio of the video, so again, not working. I don't know any other things to try, and after over an hour of googling, I came here to make a thread because I couldn't find an answer. How did you try? How?
I have enabled both the video splitter module and the video filter module for "wall video filter" after changing the default aspect ratio to 32:9 in the video wall filter settings. My monitors are both 1920x1080, I'm using VLC 2.1.2 and Windows 7. The reason I'm trying to use it is because it's the only way as far as I know to stretch a video across two monitors.Hi!
I did not ask what you have tried, I did ask, how you have tried it.
Where you have, for example, set which filter?
In Preferences - Video - Filters - Video splitter module - Wall video filter?
Another question:
Why do you use the Wall video filter to a video on two monitors divide?
What operating system are you using?
What version of VLC are you using?
What are your settings for the screen resolution (coordinates of the primary and the secondary monitor)?
