Audio glitch at beginning / end of track

Postby essami » 15 Jan 2014 19:50

Hi,

I'm using iMac with OSX 10.8.5 and VLC 2.1.2 (64-bit). Whenever I listen to audio files there's a glitch when the track changes. I've tried to google and found some info from 2009 but apparently it was resolved. Anyone have this similar problem? I've reset preferences and reinstalled VLC. This happens with my audio interface and when listening through iMac speakers.

All the files play with no problems in every other program I have.

Re: No audio at beginning of track in VLC 2.1.2

I have a problem in VLC 2.1.2 where there is no sound for ~1 second when a new file starts playing (I guess this is the glitch you mentioned before). This happened in an older version not long ago (I think it was 2.0.9 or 2.1.0, but I'm not sure) and I believed it had been fixed.

Where is the log file? I tried searching the computer and nothing comes up?
