How to play videos in side-by-side 3D. Help Plz

Postby invizo » 20 Jan 2014 03:32

Hello,
Long ago I remember seeing a guide on VLC player for playing a standard 2D movie and using the video options to force it to duplicate the frame and play them both in side-by-side, achieving pretty damn good 3D. The guides I found on youtube are out of date and do not show some of the newer settings. Can someone direct me or tell me how to do this process for the newer VLC? Thanks

edit: I mainly watch x264 codec on a 240HZ Samsung 3D LED Display

No, VLC, cannot upscale from 2D to 3D.
