VLC probably does not support this sound or video format.

it means it's an unknown codec in a avi file.
Probably something like msgsm or some other weird ms audio codec.

dj,
i'm using a new ibook on the os before panther. should i be able to run these files with the latest vlan? they are all taken from limewire, and they are tagged with .asf. some play and some don't. these little buggers are getting in the way of my precious simpsons collection. is there some way i can change them? or identify them then change them? or turn them into dark ales and drink them?

None of these codecs that produce this error are available in a newer version.
