vlc 0.8.2 under Debian???

Postby Rebelhig » 04 Oct 2005 17:15

Hello,

I have carried out the entry after the option instruction for the installation under Debian in the /etc/apt/sources.list. I find only the version vlc 0.8.1. here.
How can I install the version 0.8.2 or more highly?

without adding anything in the sources.list file I have intalled VLC 0.8.2
It woks good.
I had to install also the Alsa plugin in because there were no sound and Alsa is my sound manager. ( the plugin was present in the recommanded files to install)

uname -r
2.6.8-2-386
(sarge 3.1 -> stable)

hope this helps
