Volume drop issue

Postby plons » 21 Jan 2014 18:45

Hi,

Whenever I watch a show with VLC, the volume drops at about 5 min in, then goes back up another 5 min or so later. The volume drops a whole lot! Strange thing is: I don't see any changes to the volume bar in VLC and in the Windows volume bar.

So after the volume drops, I put the volume up manually, but when the volume goes back up by itself, it's too loud ofcourse.

Anyone can help me with this very annoying issue?

Weird... have you updated your drivers ? Otherwise :
To help you, we need messages, to completely understand what your problems is.
To fix this, please be sure before you start the playback to:
  1. Open: Tools -> Messages.
  2. Set Verbosity to 2
  3. Start playback to reproduce your issue
  4. Save text in a file or copy into clipboard
  5. Then paste the full resulting log here between [code]and[/code] (or use Pastebin.com if it's too long)
Also don't forget to name your Operating System and provide the VLC media player version.
