Where has the old option : SPDIF PASSTHROUGH gone?

We wanna have it back immediatly!

We cant enable the Passthrough to an Dolby, DTS receiver!
No possible way to enable it!!!

Do you want us to buy expensive audio cards, or what was the intention for disabling that??

The S/PDIF option is in the same place in VLC 2.1.2 as in 2.0.x...

i have a sony str-de875 and a onboard soundchip.
with this, i am not the only one.

i need to know, how to activate the blue light (blue light on str-de875 for recognizing that dts and dolby is decoding)

How to switch the passthrough on?
Our soundchip doesn't support dts or similar.
so we have the passthrough as only option to feed the receiver with spdif:dts or dolby x.1

In my old version of vlc, i was able to switch it in RMB-on-screen-menu under audio an option to activate this crap. Sorry, but it wasnt any good idea to update this vlc version.

There is further not any option, with or without dts/dolby movie, which enables this crap to passthrough it.

If i cant find this option.... WTH I AM TRYING TO TALKING ABOUT?. you know what i mean!°-°

Right Mouse BUtton on screen, Audio, A52/SPDIF Passthroug... And the player sends the dts signal directly to the receiver (over spdif out)

everytime for every single movie or else, we have to step into the damn settings.

how lame...
