How Do I Put VLC In My 'All Programs List?

Hello,

I have a HP laptop Windows 7 Home 64 bit with the latest VLC 2.1.2.

I am in need of some assistance in that I want to put the VLC program to my 'All Programs' list so I can pin it to my start menu and/or taskbar. At this point, it is only in my uninstall list. What to do?
