Adeyemi Fawole needs support for Volume problem

Postby adeyemifawoleNZ » 26 Dec 2013 12:11

Hi everyone, my name is Adeyemi Fawole. I have a Dell Laptop and I use VLC Media Player for listening to music and watching videos. I am facing volume problem with VLC these days. When I play any video or audio songs, i can see only video but unable to hear any sounds. I have used many versions like 1,2,3...8 but sound always disappears. I am unable to find out whether the problem is with VLC or my laptop....Please suggest me tips to get rid of this problem and if it is the problem of VLC, how I can remove this problem..Waiting for your suggestions

Thanks
Adeyemi Fawole

Do you have the "Enable audio" option selected in the preferences for audio?

What operating system are you using and which version of VLC?

Your statement "I have used many versions like 1,2,3 ... 8" can I not understand.

Hi,

1. Uninstall your current version of VLC.
2. Let thereby delete the preferences and the cache.
3. Install the version vlc-2.0.8-win32.exe

VLC versions 6.0, 7.0 and 8.0 are not known to me.

Hi Adeyemi Fawole,

if you have the version 2.0.8 and on your laptop no sound reproduced, then this is certainly a problem with your laptop.

with kind regards,
kodela
