dual monitors, unplug hdmi, cant find video window.

Postby thatnoobguy435 » 30 Dec 2013 09:02

when i watch a video on my external tv via hdmi, i unplug the hdmi to carry on watching the movie in another room, but the video doesn't automagically appear on the laptop screen. is there a setting to make it automagically work? must i really pause the video, resize it onto the laptop screen, then unplug hdmi cord? its funny that when i unplug the cord i still hear the movie playing, i just dont know how to move the video window back onto laptop screen, lol.

edit - second problem haha

so i closed vlc, restarted it, played a video, paused it, not sure if i minimized it or not, refreshed chrome window, clicked on vlc in the app menu bar, and it maximized onto my non plugged in tv. i have to click vlc in the app menu bar, then in the top menu bar click video >full screen> and that brings it full screen onto my laptop, then i double click to take it out of full screen, reclick float on top, and then refresh chrome again, lol god i miss windows.
