I was stunned to see that the VLC icon on the player interface changed to a Christmas symbol. The icon also shows up in the minimized tray. You may think it is cute to have the VLC icon wear a Santa Claus hat.
Enjoy your Christmas holidays, but please don't build religious imagery into a software application. It is more appropriate to place religious graphics and greetings on your website home page, if you so choose.
I want to remove this image. I cannot find the file. I have searched for .png, jpg, and .ico files in the folders.
What is this file called and what is its pathname? This is version 2.0.4 Two Flower. I hope it is not hard-coded. I am not a programmer.
Are there other Christian holiday graphics built into VLC that will pop-up as the calendar changes? For example, for your Easter or other saint days?
