Port vlc to embeded system

I want to port vlc to embedded system,
who can tell me how to do?

the system will be a STB--set top box

You should have a look at the developers site http://developers.videolan.org read all the docs even if some are out of date it gives good ideas.

Then you have to make sure you got a build chain for your stb, manage to compile the libs VLC depends of, compile VLC and do some special video and audio module if needed
