HTTP Authentication

Postby liltitus27 » 20 Nov 2013 21:30

Hey guys,

At work, when I try to play mp3 files from my computer's cd drive, I am challenged by VLC player to provide HTTP authentication for Active_Directory. Why, for non-streaming content, am I being asked for this? For what possible does playing a CD need to connect to a server, let alone Active Directory?
