Recording problem

Postby Liam » 28 Nov 2013 16:08

Hi everybody....Wondering is there any way to do what I'm trying..anyway I'll do my best to explain..
I have a video file of a tv programme which I want to keep but there are adverts at the start, in the middle and at the end.
I can start recording with VLC past the first lot of ads but when I get to the second lot if I pause the playback while recording (to skip past the ads) the slider won't move forward.
Is there any way around this please as I'm ending up making two separate recordings and having to join them with another programme.
Thanks in advance :)

the file has a .ts extension
