Problem converting video to MP3

Postby rkotter » 20 Nov 2013 18:07

I just installed VLC 2.2.1 and there is a new problem when converting video files to audio only MP3 files:

On the Convert screen, I choose the profile "Audio - MP3" and enter a filename with a file extension of ".mp3", but it always changes the file extension to ".raw". I found that if I rename the file after conversion to have the ".mp3" extension, it plays without problems, but this is a pain. Please fix this to allow the file to be named with a file extension of ".mp3" when it is converted. Even better, it would be nice to have a profile that automatically sets the file extension to ".mp3".
