"Videos Folder" in iPAD mini

Postby sumithar » 16 Oct 2013 17:31

I have an iPAD mini running iOS7. I have "copied" a few .mp4's from my PC to the tablet using iTunes sync. They show up in a folder called "Videos" on the iPad. I can play them fine from w/in this folder using the iPad's native video player.

I now installed VLC media player. But it says no media found. And I can't figure out how to "open" this folder.

Any thoughts?

You cannot. Apps are sandboxed on the iPad.

Wow, it took only a month for me to respond- sorry about that!
Anyway I discovered that VLC is one of those apps that is recognized in iTunes. So when my iPad is attached to my PC I can go into the device tab of iTunes, choose the VLC app and then add the videos directly from my PC.
Thanks!
