Is there a way to stream VLC media to a TV? What are my options?

i think that he wants to watch the stream directly on a TV...

I've got one of them and I haven't been able to get the streaming going yet! The media server software is not "talking" to the VLC output. If someon ehas this going, I'm all ears!
