Pitch variations when streaming MP3 internet radio

Postby MassMan » 26 Oct 2013 21:41

After upgrading to 2.1 I'm getting periodical tiny pitch variations when listening to MP3 radios such as http://www.di.fm and http://www.dr.dk/hjaelp/DR+Netradio/20111020145139.htm

The variations are tiny and they do not happen constantly, but still very annoying and very easy to hear. Didn't happen for me in the old version of VLC. Using default audio settings:

Using Realtek ALC1200 onboard sound with RealTek drivers:

Other systeminfo: Win7-64 / CORE2 DUO E8500 3.16GHz / GTX 660 2GB / 2x2GB PC2-8500 / Samsung 830 MZ-7PC256N / ASUS P5Q PRO / Antec Neo HE 430 Watt / 100mbit fiber-optic internet connection

Bump. Happens with Automatic, DirectX, WaveOut.
