Could not load vlc web plugin-Ubuntu 13.04

Hi,

When I am trying to use the libvlcplugin.so file (2.0. with Chrome on Ubuntu 13.04 ,the browser gives error message stating "Could not load VLC Web Plugin".It does not load even for once.

Is it so that VLC Web Plugin is not yet supported for Ubuntu 13.04?

Please suggest.

Just one more point,this Chrome on Ubuntu 13.04 is not giving any issue when we use older libvlcplugin.so file (version :- 2.0.5 ).And vlc web plugin is getting loaded successfully.
