lua script / add-on not working with VLC 2.1
I use the "Remember position" lua script / add-on. It stopped working with VLC 2.1. Usually when you turn it on while using VLC a checkbox will appear in the View menu next to its entry, but now nothing happens. Is there some kind of compatibility problem that 2.1 introduced?

Question has been asked, but no reply as for now. No lua extensions works with VLC 2.1

Ticket #8097: Lua Extensions, VLC2.1: var.add_callback( ), var.del_callback( ) do not work
Sorry, I cannot do much about it. Toothless interface now.
Extensions not using add_callback() should still work in VLC-2.1.
