Rtsp unicast on very low latency network

Postby errorlogs » 20 Sep 2013 18:23

Hello everybody :-)

Can you help me on tuning VLC : I have problem reading a network stream over a low bitrate and latency satellite link.

My link is 128 Kbps with 2 seconds latency !.. i read a unicast rtsp stream ( i open a network stream and enter rtsp://streamIP/axis-media/media.amp) to see the video flow of an Axis video encoder.

Can you advise me on how tune VLC with these link parameters ?
I tryied the "network-caching=3000" option but .. i'm sure there are other important parameters to set .. .

Some times i can see the video flow... but sometimes i doesn't work ... ( 1/5 ratio :( ).

Please help me :?
