Elapsed time display

Postby spritle » 20 Sep 2013 07:04

Why does the Mac version lack an elapsed time display in either the video window or the playlist window? It only shows the time remaining to the right of the progress bar. The Windows version shows both on either side of the progress bar, but not the Mac version, even though there's plenty of room. It's a standard feature on every other video player app I've used.

Click on the time display to switch :)

VLC for Mac 2.1 will include support for showing both times in fullscreen mode at the same time.

Thank Felix, I clicked on the time display to switch :)

I agree with spritle, VLC should show elapsed and remaining time in all windows, not just full screen mode. All video players I know do this.
