I was stunned by all of the posts in VLC Android I've had to read from users constantly complaining about the Dalvik ARM port not being this/that/other, but especially about VLC not being on US Google Play. This one is re-posted frequently. I understand their frustration, but
!Maybe this might help? Could you have the autobuild procedure add a symlink in each directory and the HMTL generator for the nightlies index page add in a 'current' (recent? latest?) link? http://nightlies.videolan.org/build/and ... urrent.apk (implies last autobuild was 14-SEP-13)
This is going on the assumption that visiting a bookmarked link every so often to trigger the install will quiet them.
What I mean is, while easy to implement, still might not lessen the posts.
